Hi Everyone,
The results from the office election last night are in. Your officers for 2014 are:
President: Don Warmuth
Vice-President: Brenda Verdone
Treasurer: Debbie Haskell
Secretary: Steve Verdone
Governor: Greg Kyzer
We also discussed the following upcoming events and business:
- Holiday Parade will be 12/7 in Mauldin. Meet at Mauldin High School by 1:30pm if you're participating. Terry is organizing and if there is additional information to relay then he will send an email.
- Holiday Dinner will be at the Haskell's this year. Also on 12/7 at 7 pm, so later in the day after the parade if you want to do both. The Haskell's will prepare a main course but the rest will be pot luck so everyone should bring a side, appetizer or dessert. It is also BYOB. And finally we will be doing a rob-your-neighbor gift exchange so please bring a wrapped gift that is no more than $20.
- We're looking into meeting location change options. The Holly Tree Country Club was investigated by John Brackett and Greg is going to be looking into City Range. We should be deciding at the next meeting but please be prepared to be going to another venue for the January meeting as that seems likely the way it's going.
- We formed a banquet planning committee and they're shooting to organize that for March.
- January event will be trap shooting organized by Emil and there will be more information to come on that as it is planned.
- February event will be a trip to Midieval Times in Atlanta. It is approximately $52 per person plus any alcohol purchases.
- Tamassee Holiday donations information was provided by Anne and hopefully she'll be sending a follow up email so that anyone who would like to donate to that will have the information they need.
- Name tags can orders are being taken by Debbie so we can save on shipping verses ordering them all separately. Please let her know if you'd like one.
