Subject: [Carolina Corvettes ] Meeting Summary

Hi All,

Here's the highlights from the meeting on September 10th.

- Tomassee Charity Event is on 9/21.  It's from 10-2 if you are going directly there.  I'll plan a cruise up from Greenville for those who want to do that.  That will probably be at 8 or 8:30 and will meet in the usual Bi-Lo parking lot on Laurens Rd (I-85 exit 48B).  I'll send details when I figure them out.

- Wine cruise is on 9/28.  There was a sign up sheet.  If you are going and didn't sign up then reply to this so Linda can get you counted.  There was a flyer handed out which Verne probably has up on the website already or will shortly.  It has all the details.

- Emil's 65th b-day party is on 10/5 at 5pm.  At his place.  If you haven't been there then details will be on the website.

- Emil & Linda's Halloween party is on 10/26 at 7pm at their place.  Costumes are optional but encouraged.  Again, if you need directions then check the website.

- The club autocross will be at the Donaldson Center on October 5th & 6th.  We can use all the help we can get so if you're available it would be great if you could come help for the day.  If you haven't autocrossed before and want to try it this is a great opportunity for that as well.  It's great that this is so close by.

- November 2nd there will be a pot luck dinner party at the Brackett's in the evening.

- FYI - the photographer on the Devil's Whip when we cruised it was the following in case you want to get pictures:  http://www.blindkenny.com/

- Joe P. is thinking of going to the Thunder In The Valley car show this weekend (9/14-9/15) so if you have any interest in going as well then touch base with him so you can go together.

- Note that President Blair won't be able to be President next year because he'll be Daddy Blair instead so if you're interested in running for the office then get yourself nominated at the October or November meeting.  If you have any questions about what's involved then let me know and I'd be happy to talk to you about it.

That's the highlights.  Catch you all later.
