Meeting Highlights  from Blair 11/13/2012

Hi Everyone,

Quick recap of the meeting highlights.

The November event that was originally going to be a trip to Biltmore and replaced due to being over priced.  It's now comedy musical thing at the Newberry Opera House.  It's on Monday, December 10th at 7pm.  Price should be some where between $22.50 and $26.50 depending on how many people we get to go.  Debbie will send an email in the near future to provide additional information and get a headcount of who is going.

Reminder that the December Holiday Party will be a Scott and Wendy's place.  Directions and stuff should be posted online at some point between now and then.  It's Saturday, December 15th and you can arrive any time after 6pm.  Scott & Wendy will handle the main dish but please bring a side dish if you come.  Also bring your own adult beverages (BYOB) and we will do the rob your neighbor gift exchange again so bring a wrapped gift not more than $25.  Scott and Wendy will send an email with additional information and want to find out what food you're bringing in an effort to evenly disperse the appetizer, side dish, dessert selections.

John Brackett volunteered to organize the January bowling event which is expected to be on a Saturday night in January.  More details to come.

It was announced that there is a charity car show this weekend in Charlotte with the proceeds going to a children's hospital.  I Googled it and found the page at the following link which I believe is the one that was referenced at the meeting.  http://www.carolinacamaroassociation.com/mainevent.php

All the current officers were reelected.

It was voted that we would donate $1000 to Wounded Warrior which is the charity of choice for the autocross.  We're glad we can make this contribution to help with the wonderful work they do.

That covers all the big stuff.  See all of you again soon.
