Minutes of September 11, 2012 Meeting
Meeting was held at J Peters Bar and Grill on Market Point Drive. Following dinner, Blair Collins, President, called the meeting to order.
The minutes of the August 14, 2012 meeting were read and approved.
Visitors Joe and Freddie were recognized.
Greg Kyzer gave the Governor’s report. In the Carolina region, a people’s choice car show is scheduled for September 15th in Wilson NC. There is a 14 event low speed autocross on September 29th and 30th. A car show is scheduled for October 6th in Roanoke NC. Our club autocross will be held at the Spartanburg Expo location on the weekend of October 20th and 21st. There is a high speed event Nov 25 -27 at Roebling Rd.
Debbie Haskell gave the treasurer’s report. There is $xxxx.97 in checking and $xxxx.80 in savings.
The August 18th photo rally was discussed. 3 cars participated.
Upcoming club events were discussed. The September event will be a drive to Helen, GA on September 22. Emil will host a Halloween party on October 27th. The November event will be a trip to Biltmore.
Planning for the club autocross was discussed. There will be a party at the Haskell’s on Saturday night after the event.
Debbie and Greg were presented with their regional championship jackets.
