Minutes of August 14, 2012 Meeting

Meeting was held at J Peters Bar and Grill on Market Point Drive. Following dinner, Blair Collins, President, called the meeting to order.

The minutes of the July 10, 2012 meeting were read and approved.

Visitors Joe and Michella Stepp were recognized.

Greg Kyzer gave the Governor’s report. In the Carolina region, a people’s choice car show is scheduled for September 15^th in Wilson NC. There is a 14 event low speed autocross scheduled for August 25^th and 26^th at the Donaldson Center. Anyone wanting to participate must pre-register. There is another 14 event low speed autocross at the Donaldson Center on September 29^th and 30^th. Our club autocross will be held at the Spartanburg Expo location on the weekend of October 20^th and 21^st. There is a 21 event low speed autocross over Labor Day weekend in Knoxville.

No treasurer’s report was given.

The July 28^th pool party at the Haskell’s was discussed.

Upcoming club events were discussed. On August 18^th, the event will be a photo rally. Event will start at Bailey’s on Woodruff road. No details were provided on the September event which will be a mountain drive.
