Minutes of June 12, 2012 Meeting
Meeting was held at J Peters Bar and Grill on Market Point Drive. Following dinner, Blair Collins, President, called the meeting to order.
The minutes of the May 8, 2012 meeting were read and approved as written.
Greg Kyzer gave the Governor’s report. No additional Carolina region events have been scheduled. Autocross is scheduled for St. Augustine in August. Minutes from RCD meeting were circulated. Rules changes were discussed.
Debbie Haskel gave the treasurer’s report. There is $xxxx.57 in checking and $xxxx.42 in savings. A $400 deposit was paid for the Expo Center event.
The May Drive-In event was discussed. Blair and Emil attended.
Upcoming club events were discussed. The June event will be a lunch cruise on June 23rd. Blair will provide details. On July 28th, there will be a pool party at the Haskel’s. Everyone should bring a side dish. In August, the event will be a photo rally and Greg will provide details at the July meeting. The September event will be a mountain drive and details will be provided later. Emil will host a Halloween party for the October event. The November event will be a trip to Biltmore. Other possible events discussed included Greenville Pickens Speedway and a fall trip to Helen Ga.
The club autocross was discussed. The event will be held at the Spartanburg Expo location on the weekend of October 20 and 21. There will be a party at the Haskell’s on Saturday night after the Autocross.
CCI was Carolina Region champions. Greg was the men’s champion.
