Meeting was held at Blue Ridge Brewing Company on North Main Street. Following dinner, Blair Collins, President, called the meeting to order.
Visitors Don and Ann Wornet were recognized.
The minutes of the August 9, 2011 meeting were read and accepted.
Greg Kyzer gave the Governor’s report. There is a Peoples Choice Car Show in Wilson, NC on September 17th. Our club event will be on Oct 22 and 23 at the Shelby Fair Grounds. A 14 low speed event weekend is scheduled for Darlington SC on Oct 29 and 30th.
The treasurer’s report was given. There is $xxxx.77 in savings and $xxxx.19 in checking. $1000 is due to the Shelby Fairgrounds for our event.
A discussion was had on the photo rally held August 20th.
Emil is planning an event for September 24th . It will be to go trap shooting.
A discussion was held on the location for the meetings. It was agreed the October meeting will remain at the Blue Ridge Brewing Company and other locations are being investigated for meetings after that.
Emil is planning to host a Halloween party on October 29th.
Membership renewals are due. Dues will be $119 for a couple or $85 for a single. This includes club dues and NCCC dues.
Officer elections will be held at the November meeting and nominations will be taken at the October meeting.
