Meeting was held at Blue Ridge Brewing Company on North Main Street. Following dinner, Blair Collins, President, called the meeting to order.
Visitors Ed, Don Wornet and Bill Braxtan were recognized.
The minutes of the July 12, 2011 meeting were read and accepted.
Greg Kyzer gave the Governor’s report. The NC Center for Auto Research is having a track day Saturday August 13, 2011.
Our club event will be on Oct 22 and 23 at the Shelby Fair Grounds. The facility has been reserved and we are working on getting the additional 7 events from another club. A 14 low speed event weekend is scheduled for Nashville on Oct 8 and 9.
The treasurer’s report was given. There is $xxxx in savings and $xxxx in checking for a total of $xxxx.
Greg provided details of the photo rally planned for August 20th.
Emil is planning an event for September.
A discussion was held on the location for the meetings. It was agreed the September meeting will remain at the Blue Ridge Brewing Company and other locations are being investigated for meetings after that.
