Since we needed cancel the meeting this month due to the weather I decided to just go ahead and distribute the information I had via email in lieu of trying to reschedule the meeting. So here's what I have for you this month:
- First, we'll cover all of the formalities of reading the previous meetings minutes, and governor's and treasurer's reports at the next meeting.
- The Regional Banquet is coming up on the weekend of March 11-13. Go ahead and get your reservations for a hotel room and RSVP for the banquet with Debbie Haskell if you're planning to attend. Debbie sent out an email with all the details on 11/24 so refer back to that if you have questions. If you don't have that available then I can forward it to you or I'm sure Debbie would be happy to help you out as well.
- The Club Banquet is still being planned but we're shooting for late February or early March and we will get an email out with the details about that as soon as we have a date and location locked down. Just be aware it's coming.
- January event of Bowling will be on Saturday 1/22 at 5:30 pm at the AMF Star Lanes in Greenville. I sent an email with the details on 1/3 so you can check that or let me know if you need it forwarded to you again. Please let me know if you're planning to attend so I can reserve the proper number of lanes. So far I have Blair & Allyson, Johnny & Debbie (maybe), Shaun, and Luis & Sheila. If you've not in that list and you're planning to go then let me know.
- The Motor Trend Auto Show is in town this weekend and due to them offering us a spot to show our cars and then selling the space to a paying vendor instead, they sent me a hand full of tickets. They said there are 25 of them which looks about right although I haven't counted them to confirm. If you want a free ticket to the show then let me know and we can work a time and place to make that hand off.
- We should be planning to do an NCCC Event this year, especially since we weren't able to get anything together last year. This has traditionally meant an autocross but we really need a large parking lot that we can rent for the weekend that doesn't cost a fortune. If you know of any that would be very helpful. It can also be up for discussion if we'd like to have some other type of NCCC event. So be thinking about it and if you have any ideas then please bring them to the next meeting.
