Minutes of November 10, 2009 Meeting
Meeting was held at Travinia’s on Woodruff Road. Following dinner, Terry Merritt, President, called the meeting to order.
The minutes of the October 13, 2009 meeting were read and accepted.
Greg Kyzer gave the Governor’s report. Our club is in seventh place nationally. Greg has ballots for national officers. Rule book changes too be voted on at the national meeting. NCCC is in the black for this year. Membership renewals due by November 15th . The regional banquet will be in April or May. The regional meeting will be November 21th . The Southeast and Florida regions have upcoming events.
Debbie Haskell gave the treasurer’s report. There is $xxxx in savings and $xxxx in checking.
Report was given on Don Smith’s brick. The brick looks good and will placed soon.
Report was given on the outing at Scott and Wendy’s home.
Debbie and Johnny Haskell are both still leading in the national standings. There are 4 weeks left to go.
There will not be a club event in November. Terry and Diane will host the Christmas Party at 6:30 on December 19. Everyone should bring drinks, a dish to share and a gift for rob your neighbor.
Tim Tennis declined the nomination for president. Terry Merritt and Blair Collins were nominated for President. No other new nominations were received. Ballots were taken for president and Blair was elected. The officers for 2010 are as follows:
