Minutes of October 13, 2009 Meeting
Meeting was held at Travinia’s on Woodruff Road. Following dinner, Terry Merritt, President, called the meeting to order.
No minutes were read for the September 8, 2009 meeting.
Greg Kyzer gave the Governor’s report. There are no more scheduled speed events in the Carolina region. Dues need to be paid by the November 10, 2009 meeting. NCCC renewals are $25 for the primary member and $10 for the spouse. Club dues are $5 per month for the primary member and $2 per month for the spouse. There are several upcoming events in the South east and Florida regions. The 2010 GS will be placed in Class M (same as Z06).
Debbie Haskell gave the treasurer’s report. There is $xxxxx in savings and $xxxxx in checking.
Don Smith’s brick is being worked on. The final design needs to be approved.
Debbie and Johnny Haskell are both still leading in the national standings. Johnny is ahead by 270 points. There are 8 weeks left to go.
The November and December club meetings will be held at Travinia’s on Woodruff Road.
Scott and Wendy will coordinate a club activity in October.
A club event is still needed for November.
Terry and Diane will host the Christmas Party on December 19.
Digital Corvettes (on line club) will be doing Tail of the Dragon on October 30 and 31.
2010 Officer nominations were taken as follows:

President – Tim Tennis (in-absentia)
Additional nominations will be received at the November meeting and elections will be held.
