Minutes of May 12, 2009 Meeting
Meeting was held at Fatz Café on Woodruff Road. Following dinner, Terry Merritt, President, called the meeting to order.
The minutes of the April 14, 2009 meeting were read and approved as written.
Visitors Chris Cantarine, Jesse Trout and Kathy Trout were recognized.
Debbie Haskell gave the bank balances. There is $xxxx in checking after outstanding checks clear. There is $xxxx in savings. We expect to have about $xxxx of expenses related to our upcoming autocross weekend including Carolina Region Event Fees. The anticipated income for the event is $xxxx.
Discussion was held on the April 18 trip to Thomas Creek Brewery.
In preparation of our upcoming event, an organizational meeting was held on April 21 at the Merritt’s. In addition, a training session was held at Vern Tomlin’s home on May 6 to go over operation of the timing equipment.
The brick to be purchased for Don Smith at the National Corvette Museum was discussed. Bill Miller will contact the museum.
The June club meeting will again be held at Fatz.
Discussions were held on the club speed event to be held May 16 and 17. Greg Kyzer went over a checklist of duties for the event.
June, July and August club events are open.
Meeting was adjourned.
