Minutes of December 9, 2008 Meeting
Meeting was held at Fuddruckers on Woodruff Road. Following dinner, Johnny Haskell, President, called the meeting to order at 7:30 PM.
Visitors John and Kitty Dillewyn were recognized.
The minutes of the November 11, 2008 meeting were read. It was noted that the February 6, 2009 date is just tentative for the region banquet.
Greg Kyzer gave the Governor’s report. The competition season is over and nothing is on the Website for 2009. Greg passed around a sign-up sheet for next year’s officers. Four shows are scheduled in eastern NC for 2009.
Debbie Haskell gave the bank balances. There is $xxxx in checking and $xxxx in savings. There is $94 of dues to be deposited. The NCCC dues were paid.
Amy presented the club with a note expressing thanks for the sympathy shown following the death of her father.
A report was provided on the December 6 trip to Ashville.
A report was provided on the Roebling Road event Thanksgiving weekend.
Upcoming Club Activities:
Christmas Party Dec 13 at Terry and Diane Merritt’s. A copy of the flyer is on the Web Site.
A discussion was held on the meeting location for 2009 and it was decided to continue to meet at Fuddruckers.
Terry has sign-up sheet for 2009 calendar.
