Meeting was held at Fuddruckers on Woodruff Road. Following dinner, Johnny Haskell, President, called the meeting to order at 7:35 PM.
No minutes were read for the October 14, 2008 meeting.
Greg Kyzer gave the Governor’s report. Debbie attended the Governor’s meeting. It was reported that the National Corvette museum will build a road course and drag strip on land recently purchased across from the museum. The Carolina Region has less than 400 members. According to the by-laws each region has to have more members than 400. There are 3 regions with less. Rule book changes will be on the NCCC web site. No events scheduled in the Carolina region. Events are scheduled in the Southeast region. The Roebling Road high speed event is Thanksgiving weekend. The LS-9 will be in class N. The FCOA is looking for children’s books that feature Corvettes. The Blue Bars issue will be late. The NCCC will have a permanent displace at the NCM. Don Smith’s brick for the NCM is being worked on.
Debbie Haskell gave the bank balances. There is $xxxx in checking and $xxxx in savings.
Upcoming Club Activities:
Saturday December 6 Candlelight evening tour at Biltmore House. We will meet at Stax Original at 10:30. Our tour time is 6:45.
Christmas Party Dec 13 at Terry and Dianne Merritt’s. A copy of the flyer is on the Web Site.
No additional officer nominations were received. The new officers are as follows:
