Minutes of October 14, 2008 Meeting
Meeting was held at Fuddruckers on Woodruff Road. Following dinner, Johnny Haskell, President, called the meeting to order at 7:30 PM.
No minutes were read for the September 9, 2008 meeting.
Greg Kyzer gave the Governor’s report. The national Governor’s meeting will be held on Sept 13. Rule book changes will be provided by email. Greg reported that he has ballots for NCCC officers. A list of members email addresses was created and will be sent to NCCC for sponsors to forward emails. NCCC renewals are due by Nov 15. Membership pins will be $3.00 this year. Money for them should be turned in to Debbie. On Oct 19, there will be a car show in Cary NC. The Southeast regional high speed event will be held Nov 29 and 30 at Roebling Road.
Debbie Haskell gave the bank balances. There is $xxxx in checking and $xxxx in savings.
The club is planning a memorial for Don Smith. This will be a 12x12 brick at the National Corvette Museum. The design is being worked on.
Upcoming Club Activities:
Greer Dragway (Thursday Nights)
Saturday December 6 Candlelight evening tour at Biltmore House.
Christmas Party Dec 13 at Terry and Dianne Merritt’s.
There is a 150 lap race at Greenville Pickens Speedway on Saturday Oct 18.
There will be an NCCC raffle for a new Corvette.
Amy has applications for FCOA.
