Biltmore House Cruise Dec 6, 2008

Meet at Stax Original restaurant at 1704 Poinsett Highway (right across from Cherrydale Shopping Center) Leave Stax at 11:30 AM.

Depart Stax and head north on Hwy 25 toward Hendersonville, NC. We will take Hwy 25 into Hendersonville and then turn onto Hwy 64 toward Brevard, NC. We will continue on Hwy 64 to S. Rugby Road in the community of Horse Shoe. Bill’s place will be shortly down the road. (This drive takes about 1 hour) We will spend approximately 2 hours looking at Bill’s cars.

Leaving Bill’s place we will turn left onto S. Rugby Road and continue as it turns into N. Rugby Road. We will then turn right onto Butler Ridge Road/Jeffries Road and then left onto Hwy 25/Hendersonville Road. We follow Hwy 25 to TGI Fridays at 115 Hendersonville Road in Asheville. (This drive takes about 30 minutes)

At this point (about 3 PM) we will split up and do whatever we want. Those that want to go to the Biltmore Winery may do that (about 10 mins). Those that wish to go to downtown Asheville may do that (also about 10 mins). There is also the Asheville Mall less than 10 minutes away. ENJOY!!!!

We can meet back at TGI Friday’s around 5 to 5:15 PM for dinner or you can do dinner on your own. In either case you should be making your way into the grounds to the parking lot by about 6:15 PM to make our 6:45 tour time.

If you have a GMRS or “family” radio, bring it. We will operate on Ch. 5 unless there is a lot of noise. Backup will be Ch. 3.
